Water Street Boat Ramp

Kelowna, B.C.

At the Water Street boat launch, accessibility meets durability.

We’ve replaced the old, deteriorating wooden docks with state-of-the-art engineered dock systems made from steel and aluminum. Each dock features a 60-foot custom aluminum pedestrian ramp descending to an 80-foot steel frame, which floats on HDPE floats. To ensure longevity, all steel is coated with black primer to prevent corrosion, and the docks are completed with FRP deck panels and Moisture Shield composite perimeter fascia.

These new dock systems not only enhance the aesthetic appeal of the waterfront but also provide a safe and reliable infrastructure for all users. Inspired by successful past projects like Pandosy Pier, our team has integrated design elements that ensure both functionality and longevity. Each component, while unique in location, shares the same sturdy construction, promising a seamless experience whether you’re launching a boat or simply taking a leisurely stroll.

Situated on Water Street beside the Kelowna Yacht Club, the boat ramp serves as more than just a place to launch vessels, it’s a focal point of our waterfront, enhanced by:

  • Wide, accessible pathways for all to enjoy
  • Trussed ramp section
  • Custom aluminum railings

Water Street Boat Ramp embodies the spirit of our waterfront community, where memories are made and connections are forged, offering a welcoming space for all to enjoy.
