Project Details

Shoreline Pile Driving is honored to play a significant role as a sponsor in the development of the Peachland Pier project, bringing our expertise in pile driving and construction to this community-enhancing endeavor. We are thrilled about the opportunity to contribute to a project that prioritizes inclusivity, aiming to create an accessible destination for individuals with wheelchairs and the elderly, ensuring that everyone can enjoy closer proximity to the water.

The project is a collaborative effort, masterfully organized by the Peachland Lions, Peachland Rotary, Peachland Sportsmen’s Association, and the District of Peachland. These organizations have come together to spearhead the creation of a landmark that promises to strengthen community bonds and enhance the recreational landscape of Okanagan Lake.

The Peachland Pier is set to be an exceptional feature along the lake, distinguished by its use of durable 60 ft steel piles and structuralam beams, coupled with construction in beautiful yellow cedar. This robust combination of materials is not just about aesthetics; it’s a testament to our commitment to longevity and sustainability. The pier is meticulously engineered to stand the test of time, with a design life of 100 years, ensuring it will serve as a cherished spot for generations to come.

This project represents more than just a physical structure; it’s a symbol of the community’s dedication to creating inclusive, welcoming spaces for all to enjoy. Shoreline Pile Driving is proud to be part of this visionary project, contributing to a future where the beauty and tranquility of Okanagan Lake are accessible to everyone.
